So...... I'm Engaged

Yep. It is official now.

Kami and I are engaged as of about 9:45 tonight!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone for all the warm wishes and social media love! We are super excited, and can't wait to see where God is going to take us in the future.

We are so blessed.

Final edit for Thursday Drive

I think I am about done with the black cover for the Thursday Drive ep.

I like how it turned out. I think it is fitting.

Thursday Drive (album shoot)

I got to shoot my first band/album cover tonight. It was a pretty cool experience, and I was able to learn a ton about shooting indoors in a controlled studio environment. I think I liked studio shooting. I still love the live environment better, but I really enjoyed the studio.

Here is a shot of the band. My friend Nathan McClure recorded and produced them, and they really sound killer. I can't wait to see how it all turns out. Here is taste of what the night brought.....more to come!

Bullhorns- you don't need them

Great post fro Seth Godin about influence. 

Bullhorns 

They cost too much and they don't work very well.

Most people ignore them, they don't last very long and they're undependable.

Anil Dash has discovered that having ten times as many Twitter followers generates approximately zero times as much value.

The goal shouldn't be to have a lot of people to yell at, the goal probably should be to have a lot of people who choose to listen. Don't need a bullhorn for that.

Wedding shoot

Last weekend I was able to shoot a 25th anniversary/ vowel renewal at The Centre in Bristol TN. I had a blast, and I was a great opportunity for me.

I am finishing editing the pics right now, and I will have some more up in the next few days as well.
