Twitter & Psychology

I love twitter. Kami loves psychology (and she loves twitter as well).

SO, I think we would both love this website.
It is called TweetPsych

It takes you last 1000 posts (and you have to have 1000 for it to even work...) and uses an algorithm to do a psychological analysis of how you tweet.

It was actually pretty accurate. The result were pretty interesting.

If you are a Twitter type (or just don't have a life), you should check out TweetPsych.

Here is a screenshot of my results.

If you do this little experiment and have a blog. Leave your blog name in the comment section and I will compile them all later this week and we can all do a little case study of our own.

Since I have been gone

Dear Blog

Sorry I have left you in the dust... I am back now though, just had to take a little break time and think without sharing on the web.

Here are some of the musings in my head right now:

- I am so sad when I hear of pastors that have to step down from their job because of marital unfaithfulness. It really does break my heart. I may never actually meet these people, but through blogging/twitter/facebook/ect. I feel like I know them, and I want the best for them.

- I feel like I have experienced some of the best worship services the last few weeks. I was I Highlands for 2 weeks and ISBC last week. All three weeks were such a sweet time of worship. I really feel like my passion comes out when I play guitar. I do not try. I could not tell you what I do on stage on Sunday (other than just worshipping). I just know that I am usually covered in sweat and usually have a guitar with a broken string (I have broken a string every week at Highlands so far...). It is so great when people tell me that they love seeing me worship. I do not think there is a greater compliment. They did not say "hey man, you were killing that solo," or "I liked your hair today". I like to get compliments (most people do). But, the best compliments are the ones that point right through me and to Jesus; He is the one who deserves all the glory and praise. That is what I want to do on stage, give Jesus all the glory.

- I just heard tonight that Bradley (my cousin with cancer) went to the doctor today, and they could not find any cancer in his pelvis!!!! It is so exciting to see what God is doing in his life. He is indeed working a miracle in him. If you don't believe in miracles, check out his link on the right side and read the entries.

- The book of James is once again blowing my brains out. So much truth in so few verses. It is like a punch to the gut, but it leaves you craving to read more. So many practical principals in James. If we could grab on to just a few of them, we could change the world. I really believe that.

- I am speaking Sunday night. I would love it if you all could say a prayer for me. I really feel like God has put something on my heart to share (from James of course). Pray that I let God speak through me, and that I would just get out of the way. I am also speaking the next 2 Wednesday nights as well.

- David, my dad, and 10 others from ISBC head to Peru on Wednesday. They are in Canta right now (not sure what the time difference is...). I am praying that God would show Himself in a new way to everyone there. I know they would appreciate if you joined in praying for them this week.

more to come. Sleep is taking over...
